Who We Are

Flower Porch is a floral design studio at Front Porch Farm, nestled among the lush flower fields of our 110-acre organic farm in Healdsburg, CA. Our studio is a space for nature connection, creativity, and community, offering full-service floral design hands-on floral workshops and other unique experiences. Using flowers and botanicals grown on our own farm in Sonoma County, our floral design team creates seasonally inspired arrangements that transform spaces and create unforgettable moments.

Jaclyn Edds Konczal

Jaclyn is our resident floral artist, known for her wild and unconventional designs. With a deep connection to the natural world and a background as a visual artist, she creates designs that evoke romance, intrigue, and a distinct sense of place. Jaclyn is an expert at turning unexpected blooms (and even the occasional vegetable!) into the star of the show.

Her floral journey began in 2012 in San Francisco, where she took floristry classes and worked at a legendary sidewalk flower shop. She went on to design weddings and events at premier venues, from San Francisco’s Asian Art Museum to the Plaza in New York City.

Since joining Front Porch Farm in 2021 as our lead floral designer, Jaclyn has been creating magic in collaboration with the earth and her beloved crew of farmer friends. When she's not designing, you can find her sharing fun facts about the cosmos, roller skating, and enjoying the beauty of Sonoma County with the people she loves.

Sustainability at Flower Porch

All of our flowers and botanicals are grown organically on our farm using regenerative practices that prioritize soil health, biodiversity, and pollinator habitat. Through minimal tillage, crop rotation, cover crops, and on-site composting, we help to nurture long-term ecological resilience. Most notably, growing and designing on the same land allows us to maintain a small carbon footprint. 

People First

We believe caring for the land includes caring for the people who steward it. Our organic, non-toxic practices protect the health and safety of our team. We invest in fair wages, health insurance for full-time employees, professional development, and foster an inclusive, bilingual, women-led, queer-friendly workplace that supports long-term wellbeing.

Thoughtful Design

We design with intention, rooted in waste reduction and ethical sourcing. We reuse vessels and design materials whenever possible, compost all organic waste, and use only reusable or fully compostable mechanics. Supporting local artisans and independently owned businesses is always our first choice for materials.

Zoe Hitchner

Zoe is a true farmer florist who manages the cultivation of Front Porch Farm’s 7-acre cut-flower program. With 15 years of farming and over a decade of floral design experience, she draws from her deep well of knowledge to grow sensational blooms for Bay Area florists and Flower Porch. Thanks to Zoe's leadership and our dedicated flower crew, Front Porch Farm is known throughout the Bay Area for flowers of exceptional quality and beauty.

When she's not busy with all things floral, Zoe loves picking peaches on a farm walk with her children, playing in the river with her family, or starting a dance party in the packing shed.

Peter and Mimi Buckley acquired Front Porch Farm in 2010. They began transforming the property, formerly a vineyard, into a thriving biodiverse farm guided by a simple principle: diversity is nature’s basic pattern.

Today, the farm is buzzing with pollinators and a team of talented and hard-working farmers. We grow delicious fruit, vibrant veggies, and beautiful flowers that you can find at farmers' markets throughout the North Bay Area, including Marin, and Healdsburg. Our harvests are also featured on the menus and in the vases of some of the Bay Area's finest chefs and florists.
